I've had this cooker less than 2 years, in that time the oven door handle has come off numerous times, the hob bars are too small to hold medium/small pans resulting in spillages. and now when i leave the glass lid up after cooking it leaks gas through one of the rings!! total waste of money dont buy.

My previous Gass Cooker was also Belling and it lasted me 10 years and was faultless, this one however is a real let down, the enamel Pan supports are too short resulting in medium sized pans tipping over onto the Flame, they are also very slippy and the pans easily slide off the Cooker Top making it dangerous.
I cooked a medium Chicken for two hours on number 5 and it was still raw in the middle !
I will have to return it.

Applies to gas cookers installed from 01/01/08 in any building containing a number of individual dwellings for domestic purposes only and dual purpose properties such as flats above shops and offices.
