OK, i ordered this item and the tall boy and 5 draw chest of draws as we wanted solid furniture that wasn't going to fall apart the first time we tried to move it (without telling the other half about the bad instructions and how people have been struggling) [...] we started putting the items together on the Saturday evening after painting all day, yes we must agree with other reviewers that the instructions are slighly challenging but we can't work out how this item took people between 5 hours and 3 days to errect, with 2 cigarette and cuppa breaks we had it up in 3 hours, we have good common sense and had an electric screwdriver and the whole process went swimmingly. The wardrobe is huge and so sturdy, no parts were missing or damaged, for the record the tallboy took about an hour and the 5 draw chest of draws took about hour and half, all good quality items.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Well, the not so helpful instructions said it should take 2 hrs to assemble. What a lie. We spent about 10 hours over 3 days trying to figure out how to put this thing together. Some of the instructions are in the wrong order and they are very difficult to understand as there is no writing just pictures of the 5million parts it comes with. The doors are a nightmare to line up. We were very close to giving up and throwing it in bin, 10hours later it is a nice wardrobe but I wish I paid to have it assembled

Looks great; does what it says on the tin. You will need help to assemble, however, and the catches for the doors are tricky. Once this is sorted, however, you will be pleased with the result.
