Glad I purchased this at the sale price because although the toaster looks very professional in an all over silver finish, it struggles to take bread thicker than medium cut, which is a bit of a let down really, as it looks like it has wide slots, but it doesn't.

The slots are not that long either, as the bread has to be almost forced in, and when the toast is ready, it doesn't pop up high enough.

I don't think I would buy DeLonghi again, even at the sale price I still feel disappointed with my purchase

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
