I have the Downland mattress topper which is really good and expected the pillow to be similar i.e. a pillow made from a slab of memory foam. This is actually a pillow stuffed with bits of memory foam which makes it lumpy and likely to lose its shape. Returned as it wasn't what I wanted. The description should make it clear that it is memory foam granules.

Initially on removing pillow from its packaging, I thought lumpy, as I was expecting a solid piece of foam. This is filled with lots of small pieces of memory foam so I did wonder how comfortable it would be. The 1st night it wasn't too bad and gave good support. Now after having had this pillow, it still offering good support and plumps up nicely and has benefitted from being given a few days to settle down. Now the pillow is perfect and I find I dont keep fidgeting and turning during the night. Although the pillow feels inially very firm, the heat from your head softens and moulds it so you feel completely support in comfort. This combined with the memory foam mattress topper I brought at the same time means I'm having the best and most comfortable nights sleep in ages and no aching neck and shoulders in the morning.
