Comments about Elements/Amanda Wakeley Embellished Halter Neck Dress:

ordered for a wedding, very disappointed. poor poor quailty, also didn't realise dress came in two parts. The back of the dress was far too baggy and hung down. Really isn't worth the money !!!

Comments about Elements/Amanda Wakeley Embellished Halter Neck Dress:

Loved the design of the dress but order it in a size smaller than you usually are. Was way too big for me. Someone else said in a review there is too much material around the back, I'd agree. Nearly kept the dress anyway to get it altered as it was that flattering!

Comments about Elements/Amanda Wakeley Embellished Halter Neck Dress:

this dress is just all wrong - the back is far too big for the size of the dress and then the waist seems to come in so the flow of the dress is not correct - waste of postage

      Clothing

The diagram below shows the key points to measure when calculating size, then simply select the correct size from the chart above. It's best to actually take body measurements rather than measuring over clothes. You shouldn't need to 'size up' or 'down' unless you have a particular fit preference of course.

      1. The Back or Band Size (A)

Keep your bra on and measure in inches around your ribcage directly under your bust.

      • If it is an even number = add 4 ins
      • If it is an odd number = add 5 ins

This gives you the band or back size. When measuring, you should always round down! Your underband should be snug, e.g. If you achieve 29.5 ins then round down.

For example: your underband measurement is 29in then add 5 ins - you are a 34.

      2. The Cup Size (B)

Now measure around the fullest part of your bust, the full bust measurement less underband = cup size. When measuring, you should always round up!

The over bust measurement should always be generous, e.g. If you achieve 34.5 ins then round up to 35 ins.

      • 34 Back size & 34 Full Bust size = A cup
      • 34 Back size & 35 Full Bust size (+1 ins difference) = B cup
      • 34 Back size & 36 Full Bust size (+2 ins difference) = C cup
      • 34 Back size & 36 Full Bust size (+3 ins difference) = D cup... etc.

      Footwear

width - toes should have room to spread with no bulges at the shoe’s widest part.
length - there should be half an inch (1.25cm) between the end of the shoe and the longest toe.

      Ordering high leg boots

High leg boots that do not have any stretch material in them will not fit everyone. To find out whether boots will fit, use the calf measurement chart below.

In order to get the most precise measurement it’s best to get someone to measure for you.
