Ordered yesterday after browsing the site and it arrived today - perfect!
The dress is a great fit, even after Christmas indulgences! It is a flattering cut and ideal length if, like me, knees and upper legs ought go be covered for the sake of others! It looks elegant and I cannot wait to wear it to a wedding in the spring. If it came in other colours, esp black, I would buy another.

Dress was a lovely colour.Was purchased for a wedding but returned as was ordered for choice and the other dress, unlike this one, did not make me feel 'frumpy.'I am not sure how this dress could be flattering on anyone unless they were the stats of the model featured. A shame as the fabric felt nice and it looked a more expensive dress.

It's best to actually take body measurements rather than measuring over clothes. You shouldn't need to 'size up' or 'down' unless you have a particular fit preference of course.

1. The Back or Band Size (A)
Keep your bra on and measure in inches around your ribcage directly under your bust.
- If it is an even number = add 4 ins
- If it is an odd number = add 5 ins
This gives you the band or back size. When measuring, you should always round down! Your underband should be snug, e.g. If you achieve 29.5 ins then round down.
For example: your underband measurement is 29in then add 5 ins - you are a 34.
2. The Cup Size (B)
Now measure around the fullest part of your bust, the full bust measurement less underband = cup size. When measuring, you should always round up!
The over bust measurement should always be generous, e.g. If you achieve 34.5 ins then round up to 35 ins.
- 34 Back size & 34 Full Bust size = A cup
- 34 Back size & 35 Full Bust size (+1 ins difference) = B cup
- 34 Back size & 36 Full Bust size (+2 ins difference) = C cup
- 34 Back size & 36 Full Bust size (+3 ins difference) = D cup... etc.
Footwear
width - toes should have room to spread with no bulges at the shoe’s widest part.
length - there should be half an inch (1.25cm) between the end of the shoe and the longest toe.

High leg boots that do not have any stretch material in them will not fit everyone. To find out whether boots will fit, use the calf measurement chart below.
