Blade 2 DVD
In Guillermo del Toro's Blade II, Wesley Snipes reprises his role as the part-human, part-vampire superhero based on the comic book character. Following a trail of blood that leads to Prague, Blade (aka the Daywalker) slays a legion of bloodsuckers in the search for his abducted mentor, Whistler (Kris Kristofferson). Soon Blade reluctantly joins forces with a band of skilled vampiric warriors called the Bloodpack to hunt down an even deadlier enemy - the monstrous Reapers, who prey on vampires and humans alike, infecting them with an incurable virus. In addition to battling these relentless new foes, Blade must deal with situations brought about by the Bloodpack's tenuous alliance - in particular, his attraction to the lovely Nyssa (Leonor Varela) and his rivalry with the brutish Reinhardt (Ron Perlman).
A hyperkinetic motion picture, Blade II literally explodes onto the screen with hi-tech weaponry and stunning special effects. The fight sequences, choreographed by Hong Kong superstar Donnie Yen (who plays Bloodpack member Snowman), are remarkably hard-hitting and elaborate. The film also improves on the entertaining original by adding a darker, more visceral tone that's fleshed out by del Toro's stylish and brilliantly grotesque visuals. Both frightening and thrilling, Blade II is sure to astound both horror and action fans alike.Contains 2 discs. Cert 18.

Bad Boys/Bad Boys 2 DVD
A boom 'n' bang boxset of Bad Boys 1 and 2.
Bad Boys: Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) is a happily married family man. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) is a smooth-talking, freewheeling bachelor. Both are cops in the narcotics division of the Miami police department. When $100 million dollars worth of seized heroin is stolen from their police station, the mismatched duo are forced to switch identities to placate the only witness (Tea Leoni) who can lead them to the drug lord responsible and save their jobs before the FBI closes them down. This explosion-heavy, chase-filled, gun-smoking action comedy is directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon, Pearl Harbour) and showcases comedic odd-couple-style bantering between the aptly paired Smith and Lawrence.
Bad Boys 2: Burnett and Lowrey return as partners on the Miami Tactical Narcotics Team in director Michael Bay's sequel to Bad Boys. Car chases and shoot outs are daily occurrences as the two try to track down a big time Ecstasy dealer. The trail leads to Johnny Tapia (Jordi Molla) a Cuban immigrant who runs the biggest drug cartel on the East Coast. The stakes are raised when Marcus discovers that his sister, Syd (Gabrielle Union), an agent for the Drug Enforcement Agency, is working undercover trying to bust Tapia as well. And to further complicate matters, Syd and Mike have become involved romantically and are keeping it a secret from Marcus. Jam-packed with massive explosions, wild chase scenes, and flying bullets, this wild ride is filled with action and violence. Smith is charming as the quick-tempered, fast-talking Mike, and Lawrence is his ideal counterpart as the stressed-out Marcus, who resorts to therapy tricks to keep calm. Joe Pantoliano reprises his role as Captain Howard, who is livid about the trail of wrecked cars and damage his boys leave behind them.
