Handy Tips:

Make sure your eyelashes are clean, dry and oil-free. Oil based cleaners will soften the glue. Be gentle, do not rub or use a towel on your eyes.

For a dramatic look use longer eyelash extensions on the outer edge of the eyelid, medium on the middle and shorter on the inside corner.

For a more natural look just use the medium and short extensions. The false eyelashes may need to be trimmed if you feel they are too long for the look you want to achieve.

Experiment with the lashes by holding them against your natural eyelashes and see how well they look and fit across your eyelid. Do all your trimming before applying eyelash glue.

Handy Tips:

The top of the gel always appears tacky after curing, this is completely normal and should not be removed between layers. After curing the final layer remove the tacky surface with finishing wipe.

If using the lamp on your toenails, you can remove the pull-out tray, allowing you to place your foot flat on the floor whilst curing. Protect floor with suitable flat covering.

Handy Pedicure Tips:

Tips for cutting the toenails: to nip the corners slide the clippers under the nail until you can see the clipper on the other side of the nail. This ensures you do not cut any skin or cut too far down the nail. Smooth with a file to remove sharp edges. Do NOT round the nails completely because this can lead to ingrowing toenails.

Removing the cuticles: apply cuticle remover to each toenail to soften the cuticle for easier removal. Massage in for a few seconds on each cuticle. Replace the foot in the foot soak to help the process of softening the cuticle while working on the other foot. Remove the first foot and pat dry with a towel. Using the cuticle pusher gently ease the cuticle back from the nail plate. If there is excess cuticle this can be cut away using the nippers. Take care not to remove too much as this may damage the healthy cuticle. Replace the foot in the soak and move onto trimming the cuticles of the other foot.

Handy Tips:

Before treatment, do not use any hair removal method that plucks the hair from the follicle, as this renders the

treatment ineffective.

You may find it helpful to use a mirror for treating hard to see areas, such as the face and underarms. A mirror with

5–10 times magnification is ideal for this.

You may feel a ‘pin prick’ sensation during treatment, however, most people do not feel anything.

Successfully treated hairs do not always fall out immediately, but are shed over time as they are released from the hair follicle; light rubbing can encourage this.
