Excellent laptop, it works very fast an the fingerprint scanner and blu-ray drive are awesome. The only downside is that it omes pre-loaded with a lot of HP software that slows it all down.
Apart from that, I would recommend this to anyone.

The DV6 looks and feels great, and I thought with a dual dedicated graphics card onboard it would work with World of Warcraft.
It does indeed look great playing WOW but it has issues that HP have not resolved after sending it back under warranty:
It has major screen corruption issues - at random times the screen cuts out or the display corrupts itself and the system locks up completely
It also loses wifi connectivity regularly and requires the wifi to be disabled and then re-enabled in Device Manager before it begins working again.
It was sent to HP with both of these faults, after a week I got the standard "never happened while we used it" reply and it was shipped back to us.
My wife played with it for the first time since it was returned this morning (nothing installed apart from Google Chrome) and within minutes the screen went black for a moment and the wifi stopped working.
I am now taking photographs every time it plays up for evidence purposes.
There are numerous reports about exactly this happening all over the internet and I have seen a youtube video this morning with a quick fix.
I won't be trying the quick fix, I will just return it whenever the problem occurs.
Statutory rights are such a good thing.
