I was very impressed with this, it is one of the cheaper sandwich makers but feels like a higher priced one. I haven't had any failures when making toasted sandwiches in this as can happen with other sandwich makers. It cooks evenly and the filling doesn't ooze (unless of course you put beans in it). Only downside, as with all sandwich makers, the conventional bread that most of us buy is always the wrong shape.

I'd been fancying a toasted ham sandwich for a while, and decided to opt for this small Kenwood sandwich maker. Apart from a small breakage on the plastic siding, which didn't affect the toasting it was a very welcome item to receive.
I simply buttered (very lightly) one side of the bread and placed it face down, then put in my ham topped with the other bread (butter up) and closed the lid. Within a few minutes I had got a tasty hot ham sandwich. of course there are many other options you can use in your sandwich. It is now something I don;t want to be without!
