I bought the Kone Kettle in black and am delighted with my purchase. It heats the water relatively quickly and whistles when the water is boiling. The kettle is made from quality material. It's simple style make it easy to hold and pour.

I bought this kettle as I was fed up with having to buy a new electric kettle every couple of years. I wanted something that would last, and which looked good. LeCreuset are a good make, and although more expensive than other brands, should last a lifetime, so it works out cheaper in the long term. This kettle looks good, I bought mine in cherry red which is a gorgeous, gradiated bright scarlet. It also has a nice, homely whistle! The only downside is the lid is a very tight fit, but I suppose that's part of the design for health and safety reasons.
