This was purchased for use in my lounge area primarily as an iPod dock. The DAB tunes to nearly all stations with great reception, the FM not quite so good (silly ariel wire). A great sound, very neat & nice to look at. Very easy to set up & get started. My only small complaint is that it could do with slightly longer speaker wires but overall great value for money

I can plug my record deck into the portable in connection which is handy. The DAB is very good, CD slot is elegant, iDock is cool. Record to MP3 via USB stick is the best feature, not seen it on any other Hi-fis, but you can't record DAB (bit disappointing).
The sound is not impressive, somehow plasticky like the speakers. Its good for an apartment though - to not disturb neighbour. The bass is compact, there's no sub boom, I've got more boom from a logitech computer speakers subwoofer setup! The side speakers are pointless. The 'bass blast' feature has hardly any effect. Would have been nice to have an effective, sub bass option.
It's not as visually impressive as in the photos. It's bigger than expected, and the speakers are look cheap and plastic.
