Children I work with had them, so i bought them for my little girls, who adore them now. They seem to be able to stand up to my 1 year old playing with them, as well as her 3 year old sister. The limbs can come off but I only let them play with them when I am supervising, just to ensure no breakages.
Such a nice change from Barbies, etc
