    I purchased this kettle as my old one had broken; I think it's quite basic for the money and the biggest drawback for me is that the water level indicator shows only cup measurements and not litres which I have found very inconvenient as it means I have to decant the boiled water into a jug to measure. This is not mentioned on the description in the catalogue. It also steams up so you have to jiggle the kettle about to clear it to see how much water is in it.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
