I bought these polishes for a change as they have a matt finish.
It looks unusual when you first put it on as you would be used to a gloss finish but I really like it now.
I would recommend a base coat and 2 layers of this, but if you top coat it you will take the matt finish away which is why I bought this.
I like the nail polish though and would recommend it as it gives a fun, different look to a classic colour.

To get a super glossy finish to your nail varnish we always suggest that you use a base and top coat.
If you apply one coat of base , two coats of colour and then one coat of top you will not only get the look that your nails have been professionally manicured but you will toughen up your nail polish, sealing in the colour and making it more chip resistant!
We suggest using Nails Inc Kensington Caviar 45 second top coat and base coat catalogue number MH21815.

These nails inc varnishes are exactly the colours that I usually love. Unfortunatly the matt finish makes them looking bland and un-glamorous. Something that also let me down was the extremly low lifetime once you painted it on. It even says on the bottle! I didn't even wear it for one day before it was starting to come away. I wouldn't waste my money and time on this when Nails incs other varnishes are fantastic!
