This was my first DSLR camera and I couldn't be any happier with it, its not too advanced and it has alot of guides and settings to help you get the kind of shot your looking for, this is a very high quality camera that can get you started in photography with having to spend alot of money on an expensive camera, the in-built flash is not the best but nor is any in-built flash on any SLR unless you only wish to get those family moments but if your looking for more then i would recommend buying a external flash such as the SB-400 as its cheap and makes your images alot better if its too dark.
