despite the absence of Hilary burton and only one episode with chad michael murray in this season it was still a brilliant ending to the show, theres not many storylines going on in this season however they are enjoyable, theres 2 intense storylines where nathan gets kidnapped and xavier is let out of prison seeking revenge on brooke, then theres the lighthearted storyline of clay finding out he has a son who he had wiped from his memory after sarah died, and of course it wouldnt be a final season without the death of a popular character and lots of tears in the final episode, also thanks to this boxset it has got me into vampire diaries as you get season 1 episodes 1-5 as a bonus disc
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
