I am a size 12 but the size 12 in this coat drowned me! Quite a shapeless fit, not as flattering as in the picture. Unfortunately, I'll be sending this back.

Comments about Savoir Moleskin Funnelneck Coat:

The cut is a bit straight the photo looks like it goes in at the waist to give it some shape, but this is not the case and there is no adjustment with a belt. Colour a bit lighter than it looks. But it's lovely, soft and comfortable. I'm wearing it at the moment, but might try to get it altered next season for a better cut for me. Given the price, still worth it

Comments about Savoir Moleskin Funnelneck Coat:

Ordered a larger size after reading other reviews and glad I did as this fits great. Lovely jacket, perfect with jeans or would equally as nice with smart trousers. Really glad I ordered this jacket. Colour is paler than in the picture

    Clothing

The diagram below shows the key points to measure when calculating size, then simply select the correct size from the chart above. It's best to actually take body measurements rather than measuring over clothes. You shouldn't need to 'size up' or 'down' unless you have a particular fit preference of course.

    1. The Back or Band Size (A)

Keep your bra on and measure in inches around your ribcage directly under your bust.

    • If it is an even number = add 4 ins
    • If it is an odd number = add 5 ins

This gives you the band or back size. When measuring, you should always round down! Your underband should be snug, e.g. If you achieve 29.5 ins then round down.

For example: your underband measurement is 29in then add 5 ins - you are a 34.

    2. The Cup Size (B)

Now measure around the fullest part of your bust, the full bust measurement less underband = cup size. When measuring, you should always round up!

The over bust measurement should always be generous, e.g. If you achieve 34.5 ins then round up to 35 ins.

    • 34 Back size & 34 Full Bust size = A cup
    • 34 Back size & 35 Full Bust size (+1 ins difference) = B cup
    • 34 Back size & 36 Full Bust size (+2 ins difference) = C cup
    • 34 Back size & 36 Full Bust size (+3 ins difference) = D cup... etc.

    Footwear

width - toes should have room to spread with no bulges at the shoe’s widest part.
length - there should be half an inch (1.25cm) between the end of the shoe and the longest toe.

    Ordering high leg boots

High leg boots that do not have any stretch material in them will not fit everyone. To find out whether boots will fit, use the calf measurement chart below.

In order to get the most precise measurement it’s best to get someone to measure for you.
