I usually get my Mum carbonnel and walker champagne truffles but as my budget is alot tighter this year I got thorntons brand. After speaking to a friend she told me they were horrid, so I tried one and she was right! Totally disgusting, they looked off and didn't even have the slightest hint of champagne, they were a totally unacceptable taste, not pleasant at all. And compared to what she is used to this would have been an embarassment had I not got advice from my friend beforehand!
