Protects selected electrical items bought from us over £150- Protects the specified item against mechanical & electrical failure for up to 5 years (inclusive of manufacturer's guarantee)
- Provides a repair or replacement in the event of a breakdown
- Provides a call back from the appointed engineer normally within 2 hours
- Most items will be repaired in 2 days of repairers visit
- Provides a network of approved and trusted repairers to repair items
- No call out fees are charged
- If it can't be fixed you could get a brand new replacement of the same or similar specification
- If we can't replace we will provide a credit to account/cash settlement up to the market value
- No limit on the number of service requests (subject to market value)
- Provides access to 24 hour Home Assistance helpline for home emergencies
What doesn't it do?
- Protect items over 8 years old
- Insure a replacement item provided under this policy
- Protect against use other than domestic use by you or your family residing with you
- Protect against any wilful act or neglect
- Protect against damage caused by not following the manufacturer's instructions
- Protect against repairs carried out by persons not authorised by us or without our prior approval
- Protect against failure which is included under the manufacturer's guarantee period
- Protect against any routine maintenance
- Protect against theft
- Cover the cost of emergency repair services for Home Assistance
