Comments about Wychwood Rogue 12ft 1.5lb Barbel Rod:

I bought 2 of these ( the 1.5lb test curve )for Ledgering at Distance with Feeders and Bombs . I set them both up for Feeder fishing at Distance on Frensham Great Pond and Caught TENCH AND SLAB SIDED BREAM . I estimated over 40lbs of fish during a 4 hour stint , BIGGEST was a Bream AT NEARLY 7LBS , I have no doubt they will be good Barbel rods too , but they are perfect for chucking out and waiting for the Bite alrms to Scream as well.I Cannot wait to try them on some of the north london reservoirs FOR BIG FISH. Also for CARP in the Winter Months when the need to scale down is crucial to get Bites.

For general but also specialised fishing
A rod on its own, in the field and from a reputable maker.
There is not a bad feature to mention about this product, it tickes all the boxes.
