As a natural material, it is prone to variations in colour, pattern and density, all of which are hallmarks of its beauty and charm. Marble is formed from the recrystallisation of limestone under intense pressure and high temperatures within the earth over thousands of years. During this process, the minerals introduced into the structure produce the beautiful colours and veining which characterise natural marble and differentiate it from synthetic substitutes.
