Another new product from RONHILL. The Wind Block Half Zip combines the warmth of a gilet with the comfort of a half zip, blocking wind chill to make it the ultimate layer for running on cooler days. The new Windblock Half Zip is a clever hybrid, and at its heart, is a combination of a knitted LS half zip with a built-in wind resistant gilet, at a price that makes it a no brainer as your new 'go to' AW running staple. Firstly, we have used a stretchy lightweight knit for the next to skin layer. This fabric has great stretch and recovery for excellent freedom of movement. Then we have placed an overlay of our highly wind resistant and breathable woven fabric with a PFAS free DWR.
We have panelled this into targeted areas on the front, the upper back and the lower back. This is what will protect your core temperature with the minimum bulk and maximum comfort. The reason we have put panelling across the lower back is specifically to protect the kidneys. Kidneys do not like the cold and so keeping them warm is vital to help regulate your core temperature.
The product is then packed with additional tech features. Thumb loops and a mitt are included and ideal for just out the door starts on cool days. It's also a Godsend on the days you've forgotten your gloves. The venting tab comes into play if you want to cool down during your run. The high collar protects your neck from the wind. A small zip secure pocket keeps safe your key or card. Styled in a specific Female fit
