Our perch is made from natural wood, coated in ground walnut shells. The texture, naturally irregular diameter and shape helps maintain healthy feet by improving circulation and muscle and joint strength. Some birds may also enjoy picking off the walnut coating, helping prevent boredom-related issues such as feather plucking  It's designed for larger parrots such as Amazons, African greys and cockatoos. Made with a small amount of pet-safe glue.
