Our multi-purpose and hard wearing Grass Seed Mix is perfect for busy gardens. It would be particularly well suited to a back garden and other high traffic areas.

Extremely hard wearing, a lawn grown with this mix will stand up to life as a playground for your family and pets, or as a venue for outdoor parties, yet will remain looking great. This mix includes 70% Creeping Red Fescue and 30% Turf Perennial Ryegrass. Multi-purpose; suitable for creating new lawns, thickening up existing ones and filling bare patches. Grass generally grows above 7C, when there is plenty of moisture in the soil, so spring and autumn are perfect for sowing the seed. However, grass can grow in other seasons when conditions are about 7C, but will require more overall care and attention.

Sowing is recommended between March and October, with the best results seen in spring and autumn. Supplied in a 1kg bag.
